This is a video of a crab moulting if you have ever eaten a "soft shell crab" its just one that is post moult.

    That's a really cool video. With insects, when they shed their skins they lose all kinds of stuff, including the coverings for their eyes and mandibles, along with some of their interior tracheal tubes. I wonder if it is similar for crustaceans?
